**About you**:
You are a high energy professional with an entrepreneurial spirit. You are results-focused and remain agile in multi-dimensional environments. You can prioritize on the fly while remaining composed and keeping your customer interactions world class. You have lending experience related to the mortgage industry and you are looking for an opportunity to grow your career.

**About you / qualifications**:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience credit lending or within a similar role
- Business development and relationship building experience within the mortgage industry. Mortgage industry networks an asset
- Knowledge of mortgage lending (insured and uninsured), mortgage insurance policies and guidelines, and mortgage underwriting practices an asset
- Presentation skills
- Customer-focused, adept at building client relations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Energetic and outgoing.
- Self-starter who can work with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Experience in using SalesForce as a CRM tool is an asset

**About the day-to-day**:

- Build and maintain positive business relationships with Mortgage Brokers and Mortgage Agents to influence the sale of Peoples Bank mortgage products
- Follow and maintain a defined sales strategy based on activities and database management
- Identify business opportunities with respect to increasing sales in their region including the identification of potential new broker/agent relationships.
- Prepare, co-ordinate and present sales presentations and proposals to new and existing brokers and agents.
- Attend and promote the Bank's mortgage products at industry Trade Shows, Conferences, and Promotional Events.
- Accountable for achieving and reporting sales activity targets for the regions.
- Manage territory expenses and accountable for overall budget.
- Achieve Key Result Areas as required for the role.
- Related administrative duties as required.
