The Human Resources Representative is responsible for providing Human Resources support relating to Human Resources services, policies, and programs to the staff and management of West Edmonton Mall, Fantasyland Hotel and West Edmonton Mall Inn.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Providing support to departments relating to policy interpretation, HR programs and services and gaining experience being by being involved with employee relations and performance management meetings.
- Contributing to the success of the Human Resources department by participating in activities such as full cycle recruitment, employee retention strategies and programs, and on-boarding processes.
- Creating and updating job postings, creating formal letters and memos, conducting employee onboarding meetings and completing subsequent paperwork and records.
- Acting as a part of the WCB Administration team and ensuring all assigned cases are processed accurately while working on relevant return-to-work programs and assisting with medical accommodation and administrative processes.
- Assisting with the administration, development, and facilitation of a variety of internal company training programs, courses, and initiatives as well as the sourcing and coordination externally facilities sessions.
- Preparing essential HR documents such as employment contracts, performance improvement documentations, required medical documentation and required HR reports.
- Providing input and support towards the development and implementation of new Human Resources initiatives, programs, and processes.
- Other responsibilities as required.

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Completion of a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management.
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years of previous related professional experience in the Human Resources industry.
- Previous working experience in Human Resources functions such as employee relations, general recruitment activities, training, and development, medical/WCB administration, etc.
- A high level of professionalism complemented by excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Applicants must possess excellent interpersonal skills and must be comfortable speaking in front of a group.
- Must be detail oriented and have a high level of accuracy regarding written communications.
- Individuals must have exceptional organizational, time management, communication, strong computer skills and abilities and a demonstrate a high level of professionalism in the workplace.
- Must have the ability to take initiative in the workplace and be excited to take on new challenges as they arise.

**Terms of Employment**:

- This is a full-time position required Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5pm for 7.5 hours per day.
- This position is eligible to participate in our 4-day work week program.
- This is a salaried position that will depend on experience and qualifications.
- This position will work on-site within the Human Resources office in West Edmonton Mall.
- Must be able to pass a basic security clearance.
