Edmonton Fasteners & Tools Ltd. is a leading distributor of hand and power tools, abrasives, adhesives, hardware, chemicals, safety supplies, etc. With over 40 years in business and over 50 local employees, we offer innovative solutions and products to our customer's industrial and construction needs with 2 strategically located branches in Edmonton.

We are looking for a Human Resource Advisor to deal with topics related to recruitment, onboarding, employee evaluations and performance, labour relations, and work policies. In this role, you will be reporting to the Branch Managers, while collaborating with the Human Resource team in Calgary, to ensure a high level of service and support for the team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Answer HR queries or requests from Management and employees
- Assist in recruitment by developing job postings, screening resumes, and coordinating and conducting interviews
- Conduct investigations and present findings, including the recommended course of action
- Support management to ensure disciplinary action procedures have sufficient documentation and records are maintained
- Aid in the development and updating of the company’s HR policies and procedures
- Additional tasks as assigned

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Minimum 1-3 year(s) of Human Resource experience
- Diploma and/or Certificate in Human Resources would be considered an asset
- Solid understanding and strong knowledge of Employment Standards and Alberta Labour Laws
- MS Office skills; quick learner of new programs and databases
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism

Salary is negotiable and determinable based on past experience and expertise.

**Salary**: From $40,000.00 per year
