**About the role**:
Corus Entertainment has an opportunity for the Manager of Activation role on the Corus Tempo team located at Corus Quay in Toronto. Tempo is a division of the sales team that develops innovative, custom, on-strategy media executions for advertisers that generate results. This position will report directly to the Director of Sales, Tempo.
**You will contribute by**:
- Lead the Tempo Activation team
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, mid-year and year end reviews and ongoing leadership with the team
- Continuously seek best practices to sales initiatives and process
- Maintain revenue tracking for all Original Programming
- Participate in key network and Original Programming Stakeholders meetings
- Maintain detailed overview of all OP activity from greenlights to in-development programming
- Oversee a personal network territory whereby you identify and develop opportunities to associate advertisers with, and monetize Corus brands and original programs.
- Pure branded content opportunities
- Marketing and programming initiatives
- Digital/mobile/social media extensions
- Short-form custom creative executions leveraging our network, programming and talent
- Work with the Tempo, National and Local Sales teams to respond to RFPs
- Pitch concepts to targeted advertisers
- Manage team through Demand Creation whereby the team creates client opportunities and presents to Tempo, National/Local Sales and Senior Management in the weekly Revenue meetings.
- Represent Corus Tempo among internal stakeholders including Original Programming, Acquisitions, Content Scheduling, Marketing, Legal, Revenue Management and Inventory Management.
- Remain current on new and emerging platforms and work on building partnership opportunities that will generate revenue.
**Skills and Experience you will bring**:
- Experience in team leadership, ability to coach and motivate for results and sales
- Experience in branded content development and strong understanding of concept execution, across broadcast, online and mobile platforms
- Exceptional presentation development and delivery skills
- Commitment to working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, client-focused environment
- Enthusiastic work ethic and proactive approach with the ability to embrace variety and spontaneity
- Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work well as part of a team environment and independently
- Advanced MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills
