**Starting Salary**:$41,610 - $47,430, per year based on experience. Salary Range Max $54,100 [2023 Rates]

**The Role**

The Housing Operations Coordinator supports the Management Team with operational processes required for effectiveness and efficiency. Creates and uses basic Excel spreadsheets to manage/report data, processes purchase orders, coordinates meetings and logistics, manages information flow between Programs, coordinates travel, and other duties as assigned. These roles follow prescribed processes that involve more complex clerical or administration responsibilities.

**Duties include, but are not limited to**:
2. Co-ordinate the flow of internal information with various branches and external sources including community members, clients and the public

3. Document and track the flow of communication traffic and monitor trends

4. Prepare, edit, proofread and maintain records, correspondence, presentations, etc.

5. Maintain office supplies levels and equipment inventory

6. Maintain (and/or setup) information filing systems

7. Coordinate travel schedules and make reservations as assigned

8. Maintain a high-level of confidentiality

9. Record and prepare meetings minutes

11. Ensuring accuracy of documents and information required for new referrals

14. Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents assigned

15. Update tracking logs on a monthly basis

16. Support department with administration and operational needs as required

17. Coordinate the processing of financial, administrative procedures (i.e. department purchase orders, expense claims, bill back submissions and purchase card reconciliation)

18. Plan and coordinate onsite and offsite meetings, special functions and events for both internal and external partners

19. Balance conflicting priorities to manage workflow, and ensure the completion of essential projects within required timelines

20. Maintain department calendar of events and communications work plan and tracking

21. Coordinate the production, distribution of department programming material to internal and external sources

22. Responsible for the day-to-day management of the records and filing systems

23. Other duties assigned by People Leader

**Qualifications**
- Strong desire to act in the service of the Métis Citizens, to advance and uphold rights and culture
- High degree of technology literacy and proficiency in standard office equipment and Survey Monkey Apply
- Advanced communications skills
- Superior organization skills and time/priority-management
- Ability to work alone/independently with mínimal supervision
- Demonstrated experience dealing with confidential information
- Exceptional problem-solving, time management and analytical skills to prioritize workload pressures and deadlines

Preferred
- Knowledge of indigenous (preferably Métis) culture, issues, and current activities
- Previous 1-2 years’ experience in a similar/comparable role
- Experience working in coordinating and delivering housing-based programs or projects
