**Job Description - Junior Setup Support**

Reports to: Production Supervisor

Time: Shift Work (Continental 12 Hour Shifts)

Regular Setup Duties
- Meet with the Set Up “A or B” Technician and/or production supervisor to discuss all ERP information including current production activities, scheduled line changes, and personnel needs prior to going on the floor (Explain any line/equipment issues).
- Review the material requirements for each bolt on/off with the material handler to ensure that resin is handled in a cost effective manner.
- Ensure equipment is maintained and functioning properly by following the pre use procedure.

Ø Report safety infractions in the health and safety log book.

Ø Inform the supervisor in a timely manner of health and safety issues where their assistance may be required.

Ø Recognize the recommendation that all heavy lifts (generally in excess of 40 lbs) are performed as team lifts.

Ø Ensure that failure by any worker to comply with the health and safety legislation and our policies and procedures will be met with a suitable process of progressive re-enforcement with the support of management.

Ø Take every precaution reasonable in the circumstances for the protection of the workers.

Ø Report all safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.

Skills and Training Requirements (Entry Level)
- OSSD Diploma (Grade 12).
- WHMIS
- Parts measurement (calipers, tape measures, scales and guzintas).
- Entry-level position for Canplex Profiles Inc.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
