Junior Archaeologist

Katzie Development Limited Partnership is seeking a causal, on call Junior Archaeologists and Field Technicians to assist with archaeological fieldwork on a large systematic data recovery program within a significant archaeological site. This position will also support other field programs.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

**Requirements**:

- located in British Columbia
- ability to legally work in Canada
- Experience with data entry
- Excellent computer skills (outlook/word/excel)
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills are essential
- Must be highly motivated
- Able to work independently and work cooperatively in a team setting

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in archaeological fieldwork (Impact assessments, alterations, and surveys)
- Assist with archaeological reporting and data entry
- Assist with Junior Katzie Technician jobs as needed
- Assist with artifact cataloguing
- Any tasks assigned by the KDLP management

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 40-50 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
