**Job Purpose**:The Project Coordinator is responsible for all site activities including planning, scheduling, organizing, overseeing, and directing subcontractors, equipment, materials, and site safety. They will also oversee the entire construction effort on a per project basis to ensure the projects are completed on time and within budget while adhering to the design specifications and all regulated construction standards.

**Job Responsibilities and Duties**:Duties performed by the employee in this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Site coordination of labour, quality control, sub-trade coordination, short and long-term scheduling, safety administration, budgeting and cost control and general reporting
- Offers a clear understanding of project scopes, contractual terms, and design specifications for all projects being executed
- Generates and tracks project deliverables by monitoring job progress, production and efficient use of labour, equipment, and materials
- Develops, monitors, and executes project construction work plans ensuring all work is conducted in compliance with contractual documents and applicable standards
- Develops and maintains strong working relations with clients, owners, sub-trades, public etc. to suitably represent Rogez Construction
- Promotes a safe work site, enforces safety and work regulation policies, initiates disciplinary action if necessary to ensure compliance to Rogez Constructions internal policies and provincial regulations
- Determines and implements construction methodology, manpower requirements, material and equipment need, work schedule and documentation of time and material tracking
- Construction plans, actions, risks, and issues consistently discussed with key stakeholders

**Job Requirements**:

- 1-2 years of demonstrated experience in the construction industry
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Construction Management or alike required
- Field related certifications seen as an asset
- Thorough understanding of construction techniques and disciplines, production and cost control, scheduling, safety policies/regulations, and engineering and design requirements
- Knowledge of Ontario Health and Safety Act and Federal and Provincial Construction Acts and Regulations
- Strong work ethic, competent in decision making and problem solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of different types of contractual terms and the impact of changes in job costing and scheduling with relation to the contracts
- Ability to supervise and coordinate a labour workforce (including sub-trades), assume different roles when required and to remain adaptable and flexible in the work environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Project)
- Proficiency in Procore or alike construction software will be seen as an asset
- Willingness to join and contribute to a dynamic construction team that fosters a positive and enjoyable work environment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
