**What to Expect**:
**A day in the life**:

- Collaborate across teams to ensure a strong customer focus while developing and implementing strategies to optimize all supply chain functions: procurement, production planning, labour planning, inventory management, and logistics
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics e.g. on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and cost of goods sold, and develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure efficient and effective supply chain operations
- Lead and develop a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and training to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Implement inventory management systems and processes to optimize inventory levels and minimize carrying costs, in coordination with the production manager to ensure accurate and achievable production schedules.
- Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of raw, in-process and finished goods.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in all supply chain activities. Regularly review and update standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
- Prepare and present supply chain performance reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and improvement opportunities.

**Role Requirements**
- 4+ years’ experience at market, business, factory level is required, direct experience working in Operations, Supply Chain and or Inventory functions within Food or Beverage manufacturing industry.
- Experience in material planning and procurement, inventory control and management, production planning, setting production requirements and managing execution, material movement, and supplier negotiations
- Knowledge of SAP and MS Office, Power BI in Supply Chain through formal training and experience an asset
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and talent management supervisory/managerial
