AllStaff Inc. is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Operations Specialist to join our team in London, ON

We are offering a competitive salary of $24.88-$32.73 per hour, paid weekly.

Job Description:

The Supply Chain Operations Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the procurement process by analyzing supplier performance and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

This role will also involve supporting bid and proposal activities (RFIs, RFQs, RFPs) and managing quoting activities.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.

Duties:

  • Assist in the procurement process by analyzing supplier performance and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support bid and proposal activities (RFIs, RFQs, RFPs) and manage quoting activities.
  • Administer Purchase Order activities (place orders, monitor status, resolve discrepancies, etc.).
  • Issue Open Order reports, follow up with suppliers for status, and expedite material deliveries.
  • Initiate and support change management documentation (PR/CR/CO) and mitigation mechanisms.
  • Manage supplier development, execution of work, and system innovation.
  • Maintain item attributes (buyer changes, lead times, MOQ).
  • Address system issues and ensure data integrity.
  • Forecast monthly material receipts to support financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operations.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and generate actionable insights.
  • Participate in Lean manufacturing projects to streamline processes.
  • Help track KPIs related to supply chain activities.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Familiarity with supply chain concepts and practices, experience with MRP systems, and proficiency in MS Excel are highly desirable.

Able to travel 10% within Canada and maintain a valid passport.

Controlled Goods Requirements:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident, worked in Canada for the last 5+ years, not traveled outside of Canada/USA for more than 6 months in the last 5 years, and pass a security assessment and criminal background check.
