**Manager, Quality and Strategic Analysis**

D U T I E S
Reporting to the Associate Dean, IRCC, the Manager, Quality and Strategic Analysis provides
strategic leadership, direction and day-to-day management of evaluation and reporting related to
the IRCC Contribution Agreement. The Manager oversees the evaluations, reporting and
Contribution Agreement between Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and
Language Training Centre at Red River College Polytechnic. The Manager establishes the quality
goals and quality metrics for the IRCC funded language and employment related programming
and develops successful criteria, related metrics and systems within a logic model and impacts
frameworks to ensure reporting on outcomes and outputs are accurate and timely. This role is
responsible for overseeing all reporting required by IRCC. The Manager executes a wide range of
analysis and provides recommendations to the Associate Dean, IRCC and Dean, School of
Education, Arts and Sciences (SEAS) and others regarding content and modalities to inform
current and future program design. The Manager will build on and develop repeatable processes,
in collaboration with software designers and others, to collect and analyze comprehensive
qualitative and quantitative data. The Manager ensures design, tools and collection meet
evaluation and research standards and best practices.
- R E Q U I R E D Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S- Bachelor Arts/Bachelor Science required in quantitative field (business, linguistics, economics,
- mathematics, etc.); combination of education and experience may be considered- Experience using quantitative and qualitative research methods for data analysis
- Experience presenting analysis findings and recommendations to senior leadership
- Experience with information management systems design and/or use
- Experience with project management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Leadership experience with a demonstrated team-oriented collaborative approach
- Strong intercultural competencies and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented: Resourcefulness, accurately preparing large volumes of data for varied
- statistical methods- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of reporting requirements in the Settlement sector
- Knowledge of program monitoring and evaluation principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with advanced knowledge of
- Excel- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning

and continuous improvement
- A S S E T S- General knowledge of the post-secondary educational sector
- Knowledge about RRC Polytech's Language Training Centre’s business and operations
- Experience using Microsoft Power BI
