**Job Description**:
As a key member of the Risk and Controls team, you will serve as a key business partner supporting all business areas within Individual Customer (IC) and Advisory Network (AN) and working closely with Risk and Compliance and Internal Audit to ensure strong risk and control practices. Individual Customer is responsible for delivering market-leading insurance and wealth management solutions to our customers, and Advisory Network is an advisor centric platform helping advisors build better businesses to service Canadians.

**What you will do**
- Identify, assess, manage, monitor, and report on the effectiveness of key controls within business units across IC and AN
- Prepare and present reporting for control testing results to management
- Complete analysis of results and provide insights on trends or patterns
- Coordinate the End User Computing (EUC) and Model Inventory activities including assisting in development, documentation, and execution of the framework in accordance with the standard, coordinating annual updates of inventories, reviewing for completeness and consistency, and confirming that appropriate controls are in place
- Manage, track, and assist with enhancement of controls relating to reported Risk Events
- Coordinate preparation of the annual return for the Bermuda Monetary Authority and coordinate the response to inquiries related to this return
- Attend opening and closing meetings for internal audits, ICOFR, compliance assessments, regulatory reviews, etc. as needed
- Assist with review and reporting activity within IC and AN (e.g., internal audits, ICOFR, compliance assessments, regulatory reviews, etc.)
- Provide insight and reporting to occurring trends across the business

**What you will bring**
- Post-secondary education or a combination of relevant experience and education
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation is an asset
- Strong understanding of risk management and control practices
- Knowledge of the financial regulatory environment
- Positive, customer-oriented attitude with an ability to foster collaborative and trusting relationships with key partners
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and listening skills
- An ability to evaluate control design and provide practical guidance on control design enhancements
- An ability to prioritize, focus, and balance multiple priorities
- Driven to improve and support ways of innovation and efficiency
