Generate Upcycle is adding a Accounts Payable Analyst to the Accounting team in London, ON

The position will be responsible for supporting the main area of Accounts Payable/Cash-out process and all related functions. This position is onsite and will report to the Director of Finance.

**Duties**
- Responsible for the Accounts Payable/Cash-out process and all related functions including invoice processing and recognition, month-end accruals, vendor setup and reconciliation, payments and AP reporting.
- Assist with General Accounting functions during the month and at month-end
- Provide analytical and reporting assistance in all areas supported by the Finance Department under the Director of Finance.
- Follow all Occupational Health & Safety requirements.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned

**Education/Licenses/Certifications**
- University degree or college diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a computerized accounting environment.

**Knowledge & Experience**
- Accounts payable, invoicing, collections, accounts payable, general accounting activities and working with different accounting systems is preferred.
- Two (2) or more years' experience using fully integrated ERP systems required
- Advanced level of knowledge in Excel, and extensive working knowledge for Word and PowerPoint

**Skills & Abilities**
- Ability to demonstrate an advanced level of knowledge in Excel, and extensive working knowledge for Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Ability to work overtime during occasional peak periods.
- Self-starter who owns their work product and escalates issues when appropriate.
- Ability to balance multiple assignments and manage quality, accuracy, and consistency of work
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must have the ability to efficiently work independently as well as part of a team as required.
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**
- No supervisory responsibilities

**Work Environment**
- Office environment, at processing facility
- Location: London, ON

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
