- GGC is actively searching for an _**Administrative Assistant, Program & Impact (1 year Contract with possible extension) **_
- *Hybrid work arrangement, must be based in the Greater Toronto Area_

**About this Opportunity**

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading girl-driven organization in a role that is critical to the organization’s work moving. Reporting to the Director, Program & Impact, this role will work closely with Managers and Team Leads within our department to support administrative tasks.

**In this role you will**:

- Connect with administrative staff from other departments across the organization to find best practices and share lessons learned
- Become familiar with a variety of platforms to provide support to members, including but not limited to Zoho Desk, Excel, event registration systems such as DK, Survey Monkey Apply, Alchemer and Outlook
- Support with data needs to ensure girl and adult awards, training and other activities are updated; and mail member recognition pieces such as pins and crests.
- Oversee departmental calendar to ensure the work of our team adheres to timelines of the organization
- Continuously seek out efficiencies to make processes simpler and easier
- Be a culture carrier and work with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude to become an important part of a dynamic, engaged team.

**General**:

- Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and practices.
- Liaise with other departments as required.
- Provide general, ongoing support to members/volunteers, responding to/directing inquiries and consulting with the appropriate groups and individuals to support the mission and vision of GGC.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in, and talent for, administrative activities (e.g., detail-oriented, organized, clear communicator, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience working under pressure with multiple tight deadlines.
- Outstanding initiative and time management skills
- Collaboration skills with a knack for communicating clearly and diplomatically
- Competent with MS products, including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to solve problems and manage details independently
- A proven track record of being a positive, organized and energetic team member

**Assets**:

- Experience in Membership-based organizations, Associations or Non-profit organizations
- Experience working with volunteers
- Knowledge of Girl Guides of Canada

**Starting Salary**: $40,166

Salary based in Toronto, GTA area

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $40,166.00 per year
