**Gray’s Landscaping & Snow Removal** **Inc.** is hiring for a full-time, permanent **Project Coordinator **to join our growing team

Gray’s landscaping is a Pickering based, growing landscape contracting company and we are looking to add to our professional team of employees. Gray’s does everything from commercial landscape maintenance to commercial landscape construction. We are looking for full time employees that want to specialize in assisting the Project Manager with requesting locates, organize and scheduling day to day activities and help the company grow.

Within the broader scope of project management, we are looking for a **Project Coordinator** that organizes and manages the various parts of a project following the Project Manager’s instructions to ensure its success. This includes assigning and monitoring daily tasks and communication, as well as creating reports and updates for the Project Manager and other members of management.

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, must meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively as you will collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines. Ultimately, the successful Project Coordinator’s duties are to ensure that all projects are completed on time and meet high quality standards, to communicate well with the crew members, reminds them of any upcoming deadlines and stresses the importance of on-time deliverables.

**Job Duties**:

- Assisting the Project Manager with locate requests, scheduling and planning the crew’s tree planting programs, organizing and preparing the equipment, material and plant lists at the yard.
- Ensuring project team adheres to provided timelines and deliverables.
- Ensuring documentation is prepared and maintained throughout the length of the project.
- Managing day to day activities for the Project Management team.
- Solving any issues that may arise during the project.
- Managing and building relationships with multiple teams.
- Organizing crews, including operational and administrative functions.
- Working alongside crews when needed in yard works for Softscape division.
- Procurement and inventory control of equipment.
- Working collaboratively with the Project Manager and support staff on matters related with bids, projects, accounting, human resources, and be a right hand man of the Project Manager.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years of experience within Landscape, mainly focused on planting jobs.
- Detail-oriented with strong leadership qualities.
- Ability to work 50 to 55-hour work week.
- Competent use and knowledge of all landscape equipment.
- Effective communication skills, people management skills with a team-player mentality.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Must be positive, pro-active and a self-starter.
- Strong problem-solving ability that enables a proactive approach to identifying issues and finding solutions promptly.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize priorities based on deadlines.
- Experience with Locate Administrator is an asset.

**Salary**: From $65K per year / depending on experience
