The Talent Acquisition Bargaining Unit (BU) Recruiter is dedicated to a portfolio of Union internal career opportunities. in the Sanofi Vaccines Toronto business to support current and future union workforce demands. This will include the administration of internal recruitment processes driven by a deep understanding of the roles, business needs and collective labour agreements.

The individual will be responsible to manage the internal bargaining unit (Union) recruitment processes. This position will collaborate with key Stakeholders (Labour Relations Lead, People & Culture (Human Resource) Partners, Hiring Managers). This will include ensuring the Sanofi Vaccines Union recruitment processes are managed in compliance with applicable legislation, Collective Labour agreements (CLAs) and company policies. The BU recruiter will also lend support to external hiring career events and mass hiring projects, impacting timely and cost effective external union recruitment.
- Serve as lead bargaining unit staffing consultant to the Toronto site.
- Ensure Union recruitment processes, systems, documentation, interviews and offers are managed according to CLAs, applicable legislation, company policies and programs; and reflecting Sanofi employer branding standards.
- Ensure Labour Relations Lead is regularly updated on status of all union recruitment and consulted proactively to address and resolve union-related questions or issues.
- Facilitate the resolution of recruitment-related issues by working with the Labour Relations Lead, Key Stakeholders, employees, and/or union executive.
- Make recommendations to Labour Relations Lead and TA Lead Canada, for updates or improvements to internal recruitment process efficiencies. Utilize technology solutions when possible to streamline or simplify processes.
- Successful performance against staffing metrics including, but not limited to: Number of Positions Filled, Time to Fill, Offer/Acceptance, and any other internal measurements and standards that drive an effective talent acquisition process.
- External Union recruitment (eg. mass hiring events; onsite events):

- Lead Union ReHire projects
- Regular analysis and reporting of recruitment results and labour trends, to Key Stakeholders, including monthly or bi-monthly presentation of recruitment results at client staff meetings.

- Ability to handle ambiguity, stressful and/or confidential situations with ease and professionalism.
- High energy, enthusiasm, passion for recruitment, and sense of urgency levels.
- Solid and persuasive verbal, written, consulting, communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain meaningful hiring metrics.
- Travel may be required, on rare occasion.
- College diploma in relevant field is required; University degree is an asset.
- Minimum three to five years in recruitment administrative/support role.
- Experience in unionized environment is preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing and/or biotech/pharma industries is an asset.
