We are looking to hire a Help Desk Intern. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates interested in pursuing a career in IT support or related fields. The role will that assist the Help Desk Team to provide quality technical support under the direct supervision of the Help Desk Manager. The Help Desk Intern will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to computer hardware, software, and network systems.

As a Help Desk Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of IT support while working alongside experienced professionals. You will develop your technical skills and knowledge while providing valuable support to end-users.

In this role, you will be expected to work collaboratively with other members of the Help Desk Team to ensure that all end-users receive timely and effective technical support. You will need to be able to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively to ensure that all issues are addressed in a timely manner. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with end-users, explaining technical issues in a clear and concise manner.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of IT support. You should be willing to take on new challenges and be eager to develop your technical skills. You should also have excellent customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with frustrated or upset end-users.

In summary, the Help Desk Intern is an important member of the Help Desk Team, providing valuable technical support to end-users while gaining hands-on experience in the field of IT support.

**Responsibilities**:

- Log help desk requests into tracking system as reported by users.
- Assist users with Level I Help Desk issues such as password resets and fax, printer and copier problems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to computer hardware, software, and network systems.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support personnel as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to end-users, ensuring timely and effective resolution of their technical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all technical support activities, including issue resolution and follow-up actions.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with new technologies and support techniques.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
- Assist with the relocation of the office.
- Collaborate with other members of the IT team on projects and initiatives as needed.

This individual is required to work from the office (downtown Toronto) on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and additional days based on demand.
