BMT Group | Island Hino is seeking a Receptionist / Socia Media Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position based out of our head office in Sidney BC and reports to the General Manager.

**The Position**

The Receptionist & Social Media Coordinator position provides essential customer service communications and plays a key role in customer satisfaction, brand recognition and company optics.

You will be part of a motivated and diverse team and have a high degree of interaction with both customers and employees.

**Responsibilities**
- **Reception**:_
- Creates a welcoming environment by greeting guests, directing visitors, and taking messages for employees.
- Provides excellent customer service communications, including providing customers with accurate and timely updates as directed & scheduling reminders.
- Updates customer account file information.
- Manages customer complaints or issues with integrity and passes them on to the appropriate department lead or manager.
- Organizes and files company documents as directed.
- Coordinates booking and setting up of meeting rooms.
- Keeping abreast of all internal policy changes to maintain effectiveness in this role.
- **Social Media Coordinator**:_
- Develops and implements social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Creates and schedules engaging content for various social media platforms.
- Monitors company social media channels for customer inquiries, comments, and reviews.
- Responds to customer inquiries and comments in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyzes social media metrics and provides reports on performance and trends.
- Collaborates with the management team to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals.
- Stays up to date with industry trends and best practices in Social Media.

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**
- Previous experience with Social Media management, strategies & posts is an asset.
- Thorough understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
- Proven organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in using computer software including but not limited to Microsoft 365, Google Suite & other various Social Media platforms.
- Strong data entry skills with exceptional diligence.
- Ability to keyboard at 45 wpm.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Salary**: From $55,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 2 years (preferred)
- Social Media Management: 1 year (preferred)
