Atlantic Lifts offers design, manufacturing, installation, maintenance and service for elevating devices across Canada and beyond. We are looking to expand our office team by hiring an administrative assistant to perform a variety of clerical tasks. The role of Administrative Assistant is a full time position located at our Whitby, ON office.

**Responsibilities**:

- General clerical work; carry out administrative duties such as filing, copying, binding, scanning
- Create and maintain recordkeeping systems
- Organize and schedule maintenance visits/service work
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Maintain electronic contact lists
- Prepare, key in, edit and proofread correspondence, invoices, contracts, reports and related materials
- Liaise with various internal departments for payroll, billing, and accounts receivable matters
- Manage customer inquiries on current and past due invoices

**Skills**
- Proven administrative or clerical experience
- Knowledge of office equipment, like phones, printers and fax machines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); Microsoft Access would be an asset
- Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize, strong organizational skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent education required; additional qualifications and/or knowledge of the industry would be an asset
- Minimum 3 years experience in a related role

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Work Location: In person
