**What you will do**:
The** Procurement Coordinator **plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of Groupe Nordik's supply chain. Responsible for liaising between departments, suppliers, and our diverse operations, they streamline procurement processes, minimize costs, and enhance overall efficiency.

The **Procurement Coordinator **uses their expertise in vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management, and contributes to the organization's fiscal responsibility. They continue to foster sustainable relationships, mitigate risks, and ultimately position the organization for long-term success all while helping to maintain our operational standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate with suppliers, evaluate their performance, and maintain positive relationships to ensure a reliable supply chain.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships to ensure implementation of key projects and initiatives and amend and monitor supplier contractual agreements.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks in the procurement process
- Ensure compliance with Procurement and Contract Management policies and procedures
- Providing support and training to projects on various procurement procedures
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and tracking inventory
- Support corporate cost savings goals and establish efficient and objective methods of tracking and quantifying progress in relation to such cost savings goals.
- Consistently develop, assess, and improve the Company’s standard procurement related contracts (Consulting agreement and Purchase Order Terms & Conditions).

**To be successful in this position you will need**:

- Minimum of College degree in business, supply chain management or equivalent
- Minimum of **3 (three) years’** experience in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of Excel including pivot tables
- Experience working with the inventory management systems
- Bilingualism in French and English is essential for our operations outside of Quebec.
