**Position**:
The Admissions Representative is responsible for recruiting, qualifying and enrolling new students into diploma and certificate programs. Your role as an admissions representative is to help new students validate their career choice or assist in determining a career that will help them achieve their goals.

**Principal Functions**:

- Actively recruit and admit qualified students into the College.
- Pro-actively pursue recruitment opportunities in order to generate the maximum number of students for all school programs.
- Prepare and maintain appropriate applicant and registration records from first contact through preparation of the student contract and receipt of tuition/fees deposit.

**Education/Training/Experience Requirements**:

- Diploma/Degree (preferably in a marketing-related field) or
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in recruitment and/or marketing and/or Private College operations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Persistent yet empathetic.
- Intermediate knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel, working knowledge of (or willingness to learn) MS Publisher (PowerPoint basics also as an asset).
- Ability to organize and set priorities and the ability to re-prioritize as necessary in a way to meet the ongoing demands of a dynamic school/work environment.

**Duties And Responsibilities**:

- Conduct interviews/tours for potential students as generated through initial contacts. Ensure contacts are properly tracked and followed-up on a timely basis.
- Attend promotional events as required by the marketing plan or as required by the College.
- Assist in the development of a recruitment/marketing strategy.
- Assist in the preparation of an annual marketing plan and a budget.
- Generate appropriate correspondence and paperwork with applicants at each stage of the registration process through to the receipt of the tuition deposit, including the execution of student contracts and Registration invoicing.
- Provide reports as requested.
- Other duties and responsibilities as directed by School Director or other Senior Officer of the College.

**Schedule**:
Monday to Friday, Weekend availability during busy season.

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
