**Job Description**:

- We provide integrated capital markets products, investment banking advisory services, corporate lending and top-ranked research to corporate, government and institutional clients around the world. We also deliver innovative banking solutions and investment products to CIBC’s retail, wealth and business clients. Our goal is to be the leading Capital Markets franchise in Canada and the lead relationship bank for key clients globally._

- We are responsible for client strategy marketing, events and sponsorships to support our corporate client relationships. We provide the Capital Markets leaders with the support that they require to help increase brand awareness, enhancing positioning and drive deeper client engagement._

What You'll Be Doing

The Associate, Digital Marketing will work with the team to assist with the production of digital marketing (podcasts, videos, etc.) and digital media assets for Capital Markets. This role will work with key stakeholders and requires specialized skills to manage the various deliverables and components of the Client Strategy team’s mandate. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment that provides extensive exposure to the Capital Markets business. We are looking for someone who is passionate about all things related to digital design (publishing, animation, editing) for with insights on new trends to help enhance CIBC Capital Market’s marketing efforts and the client experience.

- How You'll Succeed_
- Edit audio / video files for Capital Market’s podcasts (7-8 series)
- Assist with the design and production of monthly newsletters
- Assist with the design and production of social media posts - including design and animation
- Contribute to the concept, design and manage the production of various video requirements, including marketing reels and still photography
- Produce documents that meet current accessibility requirements, i.e. AODA, ACA, WCAG standards
- Propose and develop ways to streamline processes in order to increase efficiency
- Support ongoing web reporting and ad hoc analytics requests

Who You are-
- Education: Post-secondary degree, ideally in marketing or communications- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a digital design and production role- Strong fluency in digital desktop design and publishing software - Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.- Ability to create and edit simple audio / video files- Experience with the execution of digital marketing on social media platforms, digital advertising campaigns, and related activities is critical to success in the role- Knowledge of and experience with designing to accessibility standards - WCAG 2.0, 2.1, etc.- Analytical skills - ability to produce reports (ex. web reporting - including experience with Google Analytics, GA4) coupled with the ability to extract related insights from data- Excellent communication skills - excellent writing and editing skills are paramount; along with strong verbal skills to be able to interact with a broad range of stakeholders- Proven project management skills - ability to manage large number of initiatives with many different stakeholders to ensure timelines are adhered to and outputs are all excellent quality- Attention to detail - ability to manage error free production of marketing materials- Self-starter that exhibits good initiative - ability to multi-task across many priorities, work independently when required, with mínimal supervision- Ability to work effectively within a team - collaboration and agility, while being able to complete tasks independently with mínimal direction.- Exceptional time management skills - ability to manage condensed time lines to assist in achieving business requirements; ability to work with leadership team to assess and prioritize tasks- Advanced proficiency across all MS Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
