**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Analyze customer’s routing, scheduling, transportation management and related logistics operations and recommend improvements based on customer’s operational requirements.
- Document workflows and results of business analysis, including interface requirements.
- Design and configure systems according to client/server architecture.
- Train customers on Descartes’ products and solutions.
- Interface with customer IT/IS department to facilitate software configuration and design changes.
- Respond to customer questions and provide post-implementation technical support.
- Collaborate with the customer and Descartes development team to propose solutions that meet the customer’s business requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with customers.
- This position may require up to 30% travel.

**QUALIFICATIONS & Skills Required**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain/Logistics Management, or related field of study is required.

**SQL**:

- Ability to construct select, update, insert and delete Queries with multi-table joins (4+ tables).
- Ability to create tables, stored procedures, and agent jobs.
- Ability to analyze queries for improvements.

**Server/Network**:

- Strong familiarity with Windows server environments.

**Programming/Integration**:

- Experience creating/reading XML documents.
- Ability to interpret/create XSL translations
- Ability to create xpath statements to read specific data elements from XMLs.
- Scripting and/or programming experience preferred.

**Location**:This is a remote opportunity, open to applicants authorized to work in Canada or the United State

**Salary Range**: $70,000 to $80,000 CAD “Compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for this position only. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills as well as the years of experience you have. Similar positions located in different geographic regions will not necessarily receive the same compensation.”
