**Job Summary**:
Freshco’s Accounts Payable Coordinator reports directly to the Controller and performs accounting and clerical duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.

**Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following**:

- The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for receiving and reviewing incoming invoices and entering them into the Company's accounting system while ensuring accuracy.
- Researching and resolving accounts payable or accounts receivable issues with customers or vendors.
- Reconcile incoming vendor statements with outstanding invoices and/or credits and obtain copies of any missing documents. Where necessary, request a cheque from vendors with credit balances.
- Review employee expense reports for appropriate documentation and when satisfied everything is in order enter into the accounting system for processing.
- Review documentation and entries of other Accounts Payable Coordinator on a weekly basis and approve for payment then submit to Controller and CFOfor cheque and/or direct deposit runs.
- Assist with reconciling monthly corporate card accounts.
- Assist with filing and ordering of supplies for department.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

**Education and other skills**
- College education and/or Accounting Certificate preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in Accounting, preferably in Accounts Payable.
- Excellent organization skills required.
- Must be extremely detail-oriented, attention to accuracy.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required.
- Computer proficiency in Word, Excel and ability to learn to use efficiently. Understanding of how to navigate and effectively use the internet and company's database and platforms.
- Bi-lingual language skills are an asset.
- Ability to learn to meet the changing requirements of the position and the industry.

**Salary**: $40,000 - $45,000
