- As the **Director of Growth Enablement**, you will be responsible for developing the sales enablement team and overseeing key aspects of the Sales Enablement function, such as CRM and sales pipeline management, sales talent development, collaboration with marketing, product, and client experience teams, implementation of sales tools, bid management, gathering client and competitor insights, and fostering sales community engagement.
- This position involves a combination of strategy and implementation to drive sales growth and operational excellence, with a specific focus on supporting the go-to-market plan for Securian Canada's priority segments. Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer, the Sales Enablement Leader will be a crucial member of the Growth leadership team.-
What you will do
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales enablement strategy aligned with organizational goals, focusing on improving sales team effectiveness and performance.
- Lead the implementation of an enterprise CRM system and develop processes to ensure the CRM system is effectively utilized for all stages of the sales cycle.
- Evaluate, implement, and optimize sales technologies and tools, including CRM systems and other platforms, to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Support the sales team in managing client/prospect relationships and enhancing satisfaction.
- Provide access to relevant data and analytics, enabling sales teams to make data-driven decisions and adapt strategies based on customer behavior and market trends.
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of sales teams, covering product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry trends.
- Foster collaboration between sales, marketing, product and client experience teams to ensure a unified approach to customer engagement and seamless information flow.
- Collaborate with marketing, product and client experience teams to create and curate high-quality sales collateral, presentations, and training materials that support the sales process.
- Build our bid management capabilities and processes to allow effective and efficient decision-making and streamlined responses to RFP’s.
- Relentlessly gather, synthesize and communicate competitor intelligence to the sales team and utilize insights to build winning sell-against strategies.
- Build a sales community across the organization and foster a culture of growth.

What you will bring
- 10+ years of experience leading a sales organization, with at least 5 years of experience in sales enablement leadership role.
- Experience leading a team and demonstrated leadership and managerial skills.
- Deep understanding of sales processes, customer engagement, and the challenges faced by sales teams.
- Ability to leverage data analysis, utilizing market insights to make informed decisions and refine growth strategies.
- Experience in designing and delivering effective training programs for sales teams.
- Strong content creation and curation skills, ensuring the development of impactful sales materials.
- Familiarity with sales technologies, CRM systems, and other tools to optimize sales processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with diverse teams.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and stay current with industry trends.
