The program is currently embarking on an expansion from an average of 40 to 50+ students per cohort. This requires a more careful management of the student and alumni experience and increased attention to personal and professional leadership development.The EMBA Student Experience and Professional Development Manager is responsible for the personal and professional leadership development of EMBA students, the enhancement of the student experience in the EMBA program and relationship management into the alumni phase, with the primary goal to develop and maintain relationships with students throughout their learning journey into the alumni phase. The EMBA Student Experience and Professional Development Manager will provide tailored coaching and support to students to facilitate the development of knowledge, skills, and behaviours critical for professional success based on each individual student's need.

**Education**:
Post-secondary degree in business administration or a relevant field, Master's preferred.
Training and experience as a career coach and current member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) required.

**Experience**:
Four (4) years of recent related experience coaching and assessing behavioral competencies relevant to professional success. Experience working with mid
- to senior executives and familiarity with a university environment is an asset.
Demonstrated evidence of supporting experienced professionals in their leadership development.
Evidence of engaging in regular professional development is required.

**Skills**:

- Knowledge_
Excellent knowledge of coaching principles as well as an understanding of professional development for mid-to senior executives.
Understanding of the Executive MBA market.
Familiarity with career related diagnostic tools and assessments.
- Skills_
Effective communication skills with strong interpersonal skills including discretion and the ability to establish and maintain trust. Ability to present and communicate complex information with clarity to a range of diverse audiences.
A proven track record in effective coaching.
Proactive and collaborative team player, able to work with colleagues across the University and externally.
Excellent one-on-one counselling and group facilitation skills, ability to assess and refer students to other services as required.
Excellent organization and time management skills, setting priorities/multi-tasking, working under pressure of high volume and/or deadlines.
Analytical and good judgment including excellent attention to details and creative problem-solving skills.
Cross-cultural sensitivity to work effectively with diverse groups of students.
Adaptability to change, new ideas, technology, and practices.
Demonstrated commitment to the values of Student Success: Collaboration, Care, Accountability, Respect, Innovation, Inclusion and Excellence.

Works within a typical office environment (actual and/or virtual).
Flexibility required for working hours, which include occasional evenings and regularly occurring weekends for EMBA classes.
Potential requirement for some travel, as directed.
- **Compensation**:
York's CPM Compensation Framework has a salary grid consisting of 6 or 8 steps (depending on job grade) which is reviewed annually with possible adjustments, and a lump sum Performance Based Recognition Award.
