**PBC Solutions is looking for a temporary full-time Contracts Coordinator to join our team This will be a 4 to 6-month contract.**

**Who is PBC Solutions?**
PBC Solutions Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of PBC Health Benefits Society (operating as Pacific Blue Cross). Our mandate is to design, transform, and deliver the benefits and claims administration services offered by governments and other large organizations along with our consortium partners Advanced Solutions (which is our information management employer), NTT DATA, and EY.

Starting in the spring of 2023, PBC Solutions will administer Health Insurance BC Services (HIBC) on behalf of the BC Ministry of Health. HIBC Services administers medically-necessary insured doctor services through the Medical Services Plan (MSP) and drug coverage through the PharmaCare and Fair PharmaCare programs.

**Position Summary**
The Contract Coordinator monitors and maintains business and technology contracts with internal stakeholders and external parties. Reporting into the Manager, Contract Management, the Contract Coordinator will support contract negotiations, recommend purchase decisions whilst managing costs and to budget. The Coordinator ensures appropriate and timely renewal and/or changes to contracts, maintaining awareness of legal requirements, contract terms and reporting requirements to maximize business advantages and ensure compliance.

**Primary Duties**
- Provide contracts administration support and ensures that contracts and administrative matters are organized and dealt with professionally.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions and resolves or refers invoicing, insurance and financial reporting issues.
- Requesting quotes from vendors, identifying price increases in excess of established limits, and pursuing options for reduction in pricing or other alternatives.
- Generating and receiving purchase orders for new and renewed licenses, updating license management files and engaging the Finance function on material price changes.
- Receiving and asset tagging new hardware, ensuring delivery to the inventory room and advising purchasers of arrival.
- Maintain contracts inventory, related documents & correspondence, renewals calendar and support asset management processes.
- Reconciling software license counts and renewal dates to track legal compliance, ensuring the license management data and vendor information matches and is up to date.
- Support project teams and procurement to ensure successful transition of all required contracts where required by a project or services assumed from external parties.
- Enhance current processes and procedures and identify potential process improvement recommendations.
- Compile and collate analytical information/data to assist in trending, comparing and benchmarking activities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Required Experience**
- 2+ years of experience in vendor management or procurement including asset management.
- Must have intermediate to advanced spreadsheet, word processing, presentation and database software skills.

**Required Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Supply Chain Management

**Required Competencies**
- Working knowledge of supplier contracts, procurement, negotiation and vendor management principles and practices
- Demonstrated analytical and logical thinking, sound judgement skills with the ability to engage necessary resources to solve problems
- Ability to effectively plan, prioritize and follow through in a timely manner and with anticipation of potential roadblocks
- Excellent documentation practices and attention to detail
- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Adaptability to changing priorities and evolving circumstances
