**Position Summary**:
The Team Lead, 101 Street Apartments will oversee the day-to-day operations of 101 Street Apartments, including client care, case management, staff supervision, and community relations. They will support their team in the onsite delivery of services, in a multi-disciplinary team environment and be responsible for overall risk management of higher acuity clients release from the justice system. Risk management will be in partnership with Correctional Services Canada (CSC) with the overall goals of client, staff, and community safety. The Team Lead, 101 Street Apartments will support the implementation of program policies in line with directions set by Managers and Directors; play a supportive role in program and policy development and implementation. As a Team Lead, you will monitor operational and evaluative aspects of the program and fulfill the supervision requirements of direct reports.

**Responsibilities**:

- Participate in the development and implementation of agency strategic direction through the contribution of innovative ideas, concepts, and goals.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with current and potential partners/stakeholders.
- Support risk management including client and staff safety, confidentiality, duty of care, and mandatory reporting according to relevant legislation.
- Review and approve monthly time balances and semi-monthly payroll for staff.
- Oversee complex case management of 25 - 40 clients.
- Engage in collaborative decision-making with a multidisciplinary team.
- Assist with the completion of funder reports and proposals within the required timelines.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and databases.
- Ensure expenditures are made within the limits of established program budgets.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and compliance of program-level policies.
- Ensure effective recruitment, retention, and termination of program staff.

**Qualifications / Skills**:

- Diploma in a related human services field.
- 2 to 4 years’ experience with program oversight and supervising front-line employees.
- 2 to 4 years’ experience working with high-risk individuals and/or high-need populations.
- A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of above.
- Proven ability to provide leadership, direction, and establish a positive culture for a team.
- Proven ability to maintain composure and effectively manage crisis situations.
- Proven ability for written and verbal communication.
- Competency in current evidence-based practices in relation to the applicable scope of work, mental health, and addictions.
- Innovative, self-motivated, and inclined to go above and beyond.
- Proven ability to receive feedback.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification as required.
- Criminal Record Check, Enhanced Reliability, and Child Intervention Check.
- General computer and database knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
- If occasional business use is required, a reliable vehicle, a valid Class 5 Driver’s License, and $2 million liability insurance coverage are required.

**Conditions of Employment**:
This position is located at a residential site in the city of Edmonton, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday with some evening and weekend availability to assist with client emergency situations. This position is a temporary position with an immediate start date and a contract end date of **February 1, 2025.**

**Salary**:
The salary range for this position is $61,000 - $75,000.
