**Why We Need You**:
You’ll play a critical role in making Pelmorex a great place to work What does this mean exactly? You’ll be the first point of contact for all things People Ops-related. Your day-to-day will be focused on making sure all People Ops programs and services run smoothly. You’ll also be providing daily administrative support to VP, People Operations.

You’re curious, resilient, an inventive problem-solver, who is articulate and organized. You are excited about all the details that go into creating a second-to-none employee experience. Most importantly, you do not subscribe to the idea of traditional HR and are excited by a ‘different brand’ of HR (People Operations).

**What’s the Day to Day Look Like**:

- ** People Operations (90%)**:

- Manage all aspects of our new employee Onboarding ensuring a memorable experience. This includes: Organizing equipment, swag, welcome communication, and liaising with hiring managers.
- Manage the People Ops Inbox and respond to employees’ questions about employment letters, people policies/programs, systems, benefits, and payroll-related inquiries or requests.
- Employee information and data matter. You will ensure employee files are accurate, organized, and updated.
- We are a learning culture. You will play a key role by coordinating and managing logistics for Pelmorex Learning Academy events. You will ensure enrolment is smooth, gather feedback from participants, track participation, and source new exciting events to propose.
- We use Reflektive for recognition, 1:1s, and keeping track of what we work on and what we want to accomplish. You’ll be the go-to person for any questions and make sure the data is accurate and updated.
- We love recognition and hope you do too You will manage our Pelmorex Milestones Program.
- Our Employee GRRSP Program is one of our great perks. We will look to you to manage all the details that come with enrolling new hires. scheduling information sessions, and conducting regular audits of enrollment with payroll
- We have a lot of moving pieces and want to make sure we’re on top of them all. You will partner with the HRBPS to track all employee changes and update org charts.

Administrative Support (10%)**:

- Provide administrative support to the VP, People Operations. This includes; calendar management, travel, and meeting logistics.
- Provide backup administrative support for the Administrative Business Partners when they are away - don’t worry - they will be your backup too
- Attend Administrative Business Partner meetings within the Communications team. Act as a liaison between Communications & People Operations.
- We care about giving back, we do this through our Pelmorex Cares Committee. You’ll head this up in partnership with the Director of Communications. This includes coordinating corporate sponsorships and donations.
- We love to have fun and find reasons to get together. We’ll look to you for help in organizing company events remotely and in person

**Where are you right now?**:

- You have about 1 year under your belt within People Ops and love working in this field already. You don’t shy away from administrative tasks, rather you embrace them and understand their importance in supporting the People Ops Team. You are looking for a team where you can gain exposure to various areas within People Ops and be part of an amazing & supportive team.
