The Benefits Coordinator (Leaves & Accommodations) will report directly to the Manager, Leaves & Accommodations.

**a day in the life**:

- Be the primary contact for our employees as they proceed through the Accommodation process
- Provide end-to-end Accommodation case management including partnering with People & Culture Business Partners/Advisors to review accommodation requests and provide recommendations
- Possess exceptional communication and organizational skills, superior attention to detail, ability to prioritize, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and a strong focus on customer service
- Communicate the accommodation decision to employee, coordinate development of Accommodation Plan, and partner with appropriate stakeholder(s) for implementation
- Possess the ability to discern when to escalate complex issues to the Manager of Leaves and Accommodations
- Collaborate with STD/LTD vendor, Managers, and People & Culture Business Partners/Advisors on gradual return to work plans
- Maintain a case load of up to 65 cases.
- Ensure consistent response times against established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Support US Short-term disability and leave tickets
- Support with tasks across the Health & Wellbeing team as required
- Support with adhoc assignments as required

**qualifications**:

- HR experience/education
- Understanding of Canadian Accommodations/duty to accommodate
- Proficiency with ServiceNow preferred
- Discernment and decision-making
- Using discretion and maintaining employee privacy around sensitive information
- At least 3-5 years of accommodation case management experience
