**Benefits Specialist**

**Core Responsibilities**
- Plan Management and Administration: Develop, manage, and oversee the written guidelines, policies, and vendor contracts. Drive the development and delivery of employee communications materials. Develop complex and broad-based implementation strategy for communication and change management plans. Make recommendations on plan design, integration/implementation, and funding options, and identify opportunities to reduce program and/or vendor expenses. Administers and oversees benefits processes and administration.
- Strategy and Program Development. Evaluate systemic issues and consult with key stakeholders to develop and refine processes and policies. Drive large initiatives. Look for systematic ways to enhance employee experiences and vendor delivery of services to ensure consistency across the company. Develop design solutions to meet the diverse needs of our employees.

**Duties include**
- Addressing benefit plan, enrollment, and policy inquiries with employees, division admin, and vendors
- Leading the annual open enrollment process
- Leading, administering, and coordinating the Canadian salaried disability management program.
- Leading and administering the Canadian salaried vacation tracker.
- Assisting with HR and Payroll tasks

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years of Canadian benefits or program management experience
- Experience with benefits design, delivery, systems, tools and processes.
- Experience with Flexible Benefits plans an asset.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the proven ability to effectively influence, negotiate and communicate to meet operational goals.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to design workable solutions, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, prioritize workloads, meet deadlines and drive projects to successful implementation.
- Proven track record of working effectively with people across a large, complex organization.
- Experience with UKG HCM system an asset.
- Experience with acquisitions an asset
- Highly proficient in English
- French reading, writing and speaking proficiency an asset
