Office Assistant

**Responsibilities**:
**Office Assistant Duties**:

- Assisting Project Managers with gathering project documents
- Schedule and plan meetings & appointments as necessary
- Maintain files and keep track of confidential documents
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory
- Provide administrative support to office staff
- Maintain positive relationships with sub-contractors, suppliers and other staff
- Other duties as assigned

**HR Coordination Duties**:

- Assist with on - boarding process and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed
- Upload and maintain employee information into employee database as needed
- Implement HR Policies as requested
- Assist with recruitment cycles: create and update job descriptions, job postings and resume sourcing

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in an administrative role preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with construction and general contracting **is preferred but not required**:

- Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
- Strong knowledge of OHSA

**Education**:

- Post secondary education in Human Resources or related field

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
