As a Food & Beverage manager, you will be responsible for managing food and beverage operations and standards, adhering to budgets, hiring and training food and beverage staff, and handling customer complaints. We are looking for someone with excellent customer service, problem-solving skills, as well as experience with designing menus.

At Rawley Resort, Spa & Marina, you will find a secret escape that welcomes you. This luxury resort is located in Port Severn, Gateway to Muskoka - only 30 minutes from Orillia

**Responsibilities**:

- Designing delicious and attractive menus and continuously making improvements.
- Produce food specials in the format that is suitable for the restaurant brand.
- Forecasting, planning, sourcing, and ordering food supplies for the kitchen, as well as beverages to stock the bar and fridges.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with food and beverage vendors.
- Adhering to the food and beverage budget.
- Managing daily food and beverage operations.
- Following food and safety regulations.
- Maintaining positive customer relationships, processing complaints, and responding to customer needs.
- Assisting with sales and marketing events.
- Hiring, training, and managing food and beverage staff.
- Manage all Food & Beverage and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards.
- Establish targets, KPI’s, schedules, policies, and procedures.
- Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service.
- Provide a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis on and teamwork.
- Report to management regarding sales results and productivity.
- Training staff to company specifications.
- Conduct and maintain inspections as required on food and beverage supplies ensuring mínimal product loss, theft, over production, and under production. Specifically, checking all coolers and storage areas to ensure all products be used and not wasted.
- Ensure that all products are of the highest quality.
- Understand and abide by the Health & Safety standards.
- Perform other duties as required.
- All other duties assigned.

Qualifications and Experience
- Culinary school diploma or degree in food service management or related field
- Minimum of 4 years experience in the hospitality industry, with an emphasis on food and beverages
- Proven food and beverage management experience
- Experience in fine dining
- Trained Sommelier experience is an asset
- Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
- Ability to forecast food and beverage needs
- Ability to adhere to budgets and meet financial targets
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
- Mastery in delegating multiple tasks
- Communication and leadership skills
- Up-to-date with food and beverages trends and best practices
- Guest-oriented and service minded
- Great delegation skills
