Customer Engagement Specialist
Locations: Toronto - South West Ontario #LI-Hybrid
About the role:
90 000 Canadians are living with multiple sclerosis (MS), 1 in every 400 people. 4377 people are diagnosed with MS each year - almost 12 per day. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team that will help redefine MS management in Canada. Join a customer centric team who is innovative and bold to transform MS care.
Temporary position: (Contact 15 - 17 months)
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote Novartis products and services with key opinion leaders, targeted specialists and healthcare professionals.
- Know customers’ needs and deliver solutions that benefit patients, healthcare professionals and Novartis.
- Communicate and collaborate with all cross functional team members to ensure optimal alignment on business opportunities and priorities.
- Develop business plans and implement related activities like customer events and sales presentations necessary to achieve agreed objectives.
- Accountable for achieving agreed sales, productivity and performance targets within agreed budgets and timescales.
- Maintain and enhance knowledge of products, product strategy, positioning, key messages, programs, company developments, customers, and competitors.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and best in class customer relationship.
- Timely and accurate reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Novartis products within 24 hours of receipt.

**Role Requirements**
Essential Requirements:
- University degree, health sciences or business administration preferable
- Minimum of 2 years related pharma sales experience with a strong record of achievement.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various groups and commitment to teamwork.
- Curious, open-minded, self-motivation and result oriented.
- Proven Business Acumen.
Desirable Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hospital or in neurology, is a strong asset.
- Ability to lead without authority.
