Position Information

**Position Title**
- Non-Credit Instructor - Career Launcher**Faculty/Instructor Profile**
- Continuing Education and Corporate Training is seeking a part-time, term instructor to join their team. Instructors will engage and support adult learners, providing expertise in reading comprehension, math, science, and digital literacy, while also promoting career readiness and personal development. Additionally, the program integrates Indigenous perspectives and learning opportunities, with the support of the RDP Indigenous Initiatives Team, to ensure an inclusive and culturally enriched learning environment.**Position Responsibilities**
- Instructor responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Deliver in-person learning content, provide feedback and guidance to students, and be readily available to offer assistance as needed
- Support learners in developing reading comprehension, math, and science skills, with a focus on understanding complex texts and concepts relevant to Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) requirements
- Equip learners with essential digital literacy skills and teach effective communication strategies, including conflict resolution techniques for both personal and professional environments
- Guide learners through career readiness activities, such as AIT orientation, resume writing, job search strategies, and interview preparation

**Required Qualifications**
