Managing Funeral Director
**JOB SUMMARY**
This position will direct and control operational activities for the funeral home. The major objectives are to provide the highest quality services and products to satisfy the needs of any client family, maintain a positive employee relations atmosphere, and maximize profitability for Riverside.
**ABOUT US**
There are three divisions of The Lindsay Cemetery Corporation. Riverside Cemetery, Riverside Crematorium and now, more recently, Riverside Funeral Services.
Riverside Cemetery was founded in 1870 on a ten acre plot of land on the outskirts of Lindsay, Ontario. Over the past 154 years, Riverside has grown into a not-for-profit community pillar and is situated on a beautiful 60 acre property overlooking the river. It shares in the memories and stories of 17,000 individuals and boasts an historic presence in the town it holds so dear. Riverside is proud of it's historic roots and looks forward to creating many more in the years to come. In 1996, we opened our crematorium, and now have the most modern and only crematorium in Kawartha Lakes. We have continued to grow with our addition of Riverside Funeral Services in April of 2024, and now provide cremation, burial and funeral services for families all under one roof.
We are proudly the only funeral service provider to own and operate an on-site crematorium in the Kawarthas, meaning our family's loved ones will remain with us throughout the entire process.
