**Human Resources Coordinator**
Commercial Cleaning Services is seeking a **Human Resources Coordinator **to join our current HR Team.
**About the Position**
The HR Coordinator is a true generalist role. You will spend part of your time supporting Commercial Cleaning Services’ Health and Safety function, as well as playing an active role in recruiting and onboarding talent. This position will provide further support to our Organizational Development department by providing administrative support and ensuring compliance with internal and external safety requirements. This position will provide further support to our Organizational Development Department by assisting with other duties as may be required from time to time. This position is based out of our Corporate Head Office located in St. Catharines, ON.
**Job Duties**
- Health and Safety (50%)_
- Support Commercial Cleaning Services Health and Safety initiatives by ensuring compliance with company and client safety requirements, as well as government legislative regulations
- Assist in the evaluation and monitoring of Health and Safety hazards to control risks in the workplace
- Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents and support of the company’s Early and Safe Return to Work (ESRTW) program
- Participate in audits of Health and Safety performance and produce regular reports
- Coordinate Joint Health and Safety Committee and other Health and Safety functions at job sites
- Coordinate Health and Safety Trainings and manage documentation of completed trainings
- Recruitment and Onboarding (25%)_
- Advise job applicants on employment requirements and on terms and conditions of employment
- Liaise between the Human Resources and Operations Departments to ensure staffing needs are met and workers are onboarded in accordance with company procedures and client requirements
- Administration (25%)_
- Provide administrative support by organizing and maintaining employee records, drafting documents, letters and communications, and updating client-based safety portals
- Organize and maintain electronic and paper based employee files
- Post-secondary diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Human Resource Management, or similar; in progress or close to completion
- JHSC Certification preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Interest in the Health, Safety and Environment field and ongoing effort to learn
- Ability to work independently and take ownership over work to meet commitments
- Strong attention to detail in all areas of work
- Time management skills; ability to multitask and meet changing priorities
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft suite; comfortable learning additional software
- Positive, friendly mindset and ability to collaborate with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders
- G Class Driver’s License (preferred)

Pay: $45,000.00-$47,000.00 per year
