The Edmonton Police Service requires one (1) positive individual committed to providing exemplary customer service to assume the position of Jr. Routine Disclosure Analyst within the Information and Privacy Unit Responsibilities of this position include:

- Working knowledge of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPP)
- Accurately processing requests for police files by defining the complexity, clarity and scope of the request in accordance with established policy and procedures.
- Conducts searches for responsive records using various databases
- Provides advice to business areas regarding the access to information process and internal procedures
- Responds to inquiries from citizens, third parties and other internal and external stakeholders as an access to information applicant
- Provide coaching and mentoring to two (2) Clerk II’s.
- Providing excellent customer service to applicants.
- Collecting and processing fees.
- Performing general office duties including collecting and distributing mail in addition to other related duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of the FOIPP Act
- A minimum of two (2) years diversified word and information processing experience.
- Exemplary interpersonal and customer service skills. Previous customer relations experience would be considered an asset.
- Experience with City of Edmonton cash handling procedures would be considered an asset.
- Experience in CPIC, JOIN and NicheUA would be considered an asset.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- As part of your pre-hire screening, you will be required to complete an Enhanced Security Clearance. Should you accept employment with the Edmonton Police Service you acknowledge and agree to participate in future Enhanced Security Re-Clearances at scheduled intervals or in any other circumstances, exigent or otherwise, as required by Human Resources Division.

**Hours of Work**:
40 hours per week, 8 hours per day. Work shift is 0700hrs to 1530 or 08:00 to 16:30hrshrs Monday to Friday.

**Salary Range**:
21B, Salary Grade: 013, $27.069 - $33.943 (Hourly), $2,165.50 - $2,715.40 (Bi-Weekly), $56,520.07 - $70,872.98 (Annually). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.
