About the team you are joining
IATA’s Business Intelligence Services are the focal point and driving force for data management and global BI services for the aviation industry. The team is comprised of aviation industry experts, data management and analytic professionals and experienced data scientists based in Montreal and Geneva.
This hiring position of Manager, User Feed Delivery will manage end-to-end feed delivery to DDS clients (and for derivate products), encompassing contract implementation, feed configuration and monitoring for ongoing and adhoc delivery, addressing users queries on feed delivery and data quality issues.
This role is part of the Business Intelligence Delivery unit and reports to Senior Manager, DDS Operations.
What your day would be like
Review contracts and ensure the compatibility of the feed layout and delivery requirements with the system capabilities.
Contract implementation and feed configuration for standard and custom feed deliveries, and for both ongoing and adhoc feed deliveries.
Monitor feed deliveries and work with the vendor and IATA iinet team to resolve any failures in feed generation and delivery to the clients.
Handle users queries on feed delivery and re-delivery, address data quality issues, identify the root causes, and work with the business team or the vendor to resolve them.
Review the data from the different data sources, identify the root causes for discrepancies and work with the different data providers on resolving them.
Work with the vendor to identify new enhancements on feed development and delivery methods, and to resolve any flows and issues in the current implementation.
Coordinate with IATA partners on feed deliveries and on user queries (whenever is needed).

M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Must have solid technical expertise in Cloud Computing, AWS infrastructure and Database Management
5+ years’ experience in solution design and architecture
Preferred knowledge in business intelligence and reporting (MS Power BI), integration and systems architecture.
Good interpersonal communication; the ability to communicate complex issues in a simple manner
Fluent reading, writing and speaking abilities in English
Team player and strong sense of ownership.
Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
