**Job Summary**
- The Faculty of Management (FoM) differentiates itself by combining academic learning with practical work experience through mandatory and optional co-op and internship programs at the undergraduate and master’s level. This work integrated learning model is a major competitive advantage for the FoM to attract and retain students and to position itself as a targeted school for recruitment by employers. Reporting to the Employer Development Manager, the Employer Development Coordinator will engage new and dormant employer partners and generate employment opportunities to meet the needs of students served by Management Career Services (MCS), for work terms and graduate employment, with Atlantic Canada based organizations and a focus on the Greater Toronto Area, contribute to Management Career Services’ employer development and engagement strategy and assist MCS team regarding their employer development efforts, and coordinate and contribute to events and networking opportunities, representing MCS and the Faculty of Management in various activities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage a targeted and effective sales cycle by developing a funnel of prospective employers, qualifying prospects and closing sales to engage high potential reputable new employers, and generate quality paid employment opportunities appropriate to students’ interests and academic level in consideration of the targeted industries and strategic priorities of each student employment program.
- Work in close collaboration and consultation with MCS team members to grow, retain and regain employment opportunities with existing employer partners when needed.
- Establish collaborations with key external stakeholders, professional and industry associations to expand the outreach of MCS to the employer community. Participate in external committees to foster and maintain external relationships.
- Conduct regular work term mid-term review meetings with students and supervisors to ensure positive support for all FoM programs continues and support excellent student performance.
- Assist the MCS team and the Faculty of Management regarding various events and activities, when needed.

**Note**
- The successful applicant will primarily work remotely, with occasional presence in-person on-campus to meet client needs and operation requirements.

**Required Qualifications**
- Undergraduate degree with three to five years’ sales experience, preferably in employment and/or recruitment industry (or an equivalent combination of training and experience).
- An established network of business professionals in our key strategic target markets including but not limited to Atlantic Canada, with a specific focus on the Greater Toronto Area.
- Excellent client engagement and client relationship management skills. Demonstrated history of cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with a proven ability to close deals.
- Effective time and task management skills, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Superior written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with, and understand the needs of, a diverse student population.
- Ability to work and collaborate with team members.
