**The Opportunity**:
**MTE Logistix Group of Companies** is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Human Resources Generalist to join our team. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Human Resources this exciting opportunity is responsible to provide support for the delivery of human resource services aligned to legislative requirements and the organization’s Mission, Vision, Values, policies, and procedures. Through effectively and efficiently managing priorities, the Human Resources Generalist is a key contributor to the achievement of the department’s strategic plan and operational deliverables.

**What will you do?**
- Support the development and delivery of service area plans, strategies, policies and processes to align with the departments’ operational plans in compliance with relevant legislation and/or collective agreements
- Provide professional human resource expertise, advice and support to leaders on employee relations, progressive discipline, matters across multiple business units
- Identify and evaluate changes in industry practices and business trends and capitalize on opportunities to improve service area deliverables including increasing team engagement and addressing diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) initiatives
- Responsible for HR data management to ensure accuracy and confidentiality, implements data management audits and provides solutions
- Prepares reports, presentations and/or documentation, researches and supports special projects as required and continually strives to enhance the quality and delivery of services through efficiencies and innovation

**What you need to succeed**
- **Must-have**_
- Completion of post-secondary program in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or Business Administration with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered
- Strong influencing and conflict resolution techniques and knowledge, verbal and written communication skills, and delivering human resource presentations and best practices to a broad range demographic
- Demonstrated ability to prepare clear and concise reports, and conduct investigations
- A valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s license

A Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation, experience in a unionized environment including collective bargaining, and familiarity with 3PL warehousing.

Salary between $60-$70, based on experience, and an employer contribution pension plan, paid vacation, a comprehensive benefits package, learning and development, employee assistance program, and free parking.

The opportunity is in our head office located at 14627 - 128 Avenue, Edmonton, AB. The role is permanent full
- time, 40 hours per week scheduled Monday to Friday, with the possibility of extended hours and mínimal travel to meet operational requirements.
