**JOB PURPOSE**:
Reporting to the Director, Human Resources the Human Resources Generalist is involved in most facets of the employment life cycle. Supporting the resourcing, administration, performance management and development of employees for small to medium sized construction projects across Western Canada, ensuring the right people are in the right positions for Keller to meet its organizational targets.
**Keller Accountabilities**:

**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain positive working relationships with employees and the Management Team
- Collaborate and plan workforce needs with managers to peek loading schedules and required qualifications
- Full cycle recruitment including the development of job postings, postings jobs, resume’ screening, interviewing, and reference checks
- Presentation of employment offers, negotiation of offerings, start dates and locations
- New employee orientation program maintenance and enhancement
- New employee onboarding planning, organizing and execution
- Procure, disperse, track and report on field employee technology needs
- Employee compensation and benefits setup, changes, and reporting
- Advise management on employee relations and performance management best practices
- Research and pursue external partnerships, represent Keller at Stakeholder events
- Assist in seasonal layoffs and offboarding employees
- Assist management identifying employee skills gaps and T&D opportunities
- Assist with maintaining the laydown yard and building
- Assist in organizing and coordinating Keller events
- Review and update Keller documentation. Including offer letters, employee handbook, and company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and compile reports people data and metrics
- Filing and document management
- Occasional travel to out-of-town may be required but not expected

**EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Minimum of 3-5 years work experience as an HR Generalist/Advisor/Specialist or Field Recruiter
- Completion of post-secondary education in human resources or related study
- The demonstrated ability to manage change and create innovative solutions
- General knowledge of human resource management principles and practices covering employee relations, recruitment and selection, compensation design, benefits administration, employee training and development
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence others
- Experience leading or supporting equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives
- Effective verbal, and written communication skills
- Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software
- General knowledgeable of Provincial (Western Canada) employment laws and legislation
- CPHR Designation is an Asset
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
