**Clinical Case Worker in Youth Justice Services**

London Family Court Clinic (LFCC) is a dynamic organization with extensive expertise in working with youth and their families.

**What we need**

A Clinical Case Worker to join our Youth Justice Services Team to support intake and assessment tasks and work with adolescents who are involved in the Youth Justice System.

**Qualifications**:

- BA, BSW, SSW or similar degree in social services
- Registration and in good standing with an accredited regulatory college such as the Ontario College of Social workers or Social Service Workers
- Experience working with youth and families
- Experience and knowledge about the Youth Criminal Justice court system is an asset
- Ability to deal pleasantly and effectively with a wide range of people of different ages and cultures
- Ability to maintain positive professional boundaries
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. **Well developed writing skills are required for this role.**:

- Ability to work under pressure and handle time-line demands
- Strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively as part of a team
- Proven knowledge of case management processes and procedures
- Strong sense of ethics and the ability to handle sensitive or private information according to relevant legislative Acts
- Clear Police (vulnerable sector) check
- Ability to speak in French or other languages is an asset
- Valid first aid or CPR certification is an asset
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable car is beneficial

**Start Date: April 2023 or as soon as possible**

**Hours of Work**: This is negotiable as a permanent.8FTE to full-time position that has flexible weekday hours.
