**Human Resources Policy and Process Intern**
**About The Agency**

Jewish Family and Child Service (JF&CS) is a multi-service, client-centered, family service agency and a Children’s Aid Society. We support the healthy development of individuals, children, families, and communities through prevention, protection, counselling, and education and advocacy services, within the context of Jewish values.

**About The Role**

**HR Policy & Process Intern**
- Maintaining, reviewing, and updating policies and procedures according to internal procedures and controls;
- Mapping processes, drafting, developing, reviewing, and amending policies and procedures;
- Creating and automating workflow charts;
- Reviewing and amending policies and procedures of the Human Resources department ensuring compliance with provincial and federal governments;
- Analyzing, simplifying, and summarizing complex information accurately
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in the area of Human Resources Management, Communications, Business Administration or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience in reaching and interpreting provincial and federal rules, regulations, policies, and procedures will be an asset.
- Experience in policy and procedure writing will be considered an asset.
- Exceptional written communication skills, to include composition, spelling, and grammar for editing documents produced in the English Language
- Knowledge in ADP Workforce now is an asset
- Excellent computer skills, including knowledge in Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivated and able to perform with mínimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
