Business Development Coordinator

**THE JOB**
The Distribution Group at Weston Forest is currently recruiting for a Business Development Coordinator. The primary role of the Business Development Coordinator is to qualify existing leads and prospects and help maintain our Business Development pipeline. The position also requires working alongside the Sales team to validate and update projects within Salesforce. This is an ideal role If you enjoy working as part of a team, have excellent communication and organizational skills, and want to develop your sales, interpersonal or business skillset. Please note, this position is largely onsite.
**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Lead Validation/Cold Calling**:
- Provide outstanding support to the Sales team by calling prospects, leads and inactive accounts to determine whether they fit the archetype of a “Weston Forest Customer”
- Gather pertinent information on potential customers to assist the sales team in the acquisition of new accounts
- Assist assigned sales staff with required paperwork
- Maintain, filter and update customer and project information in SalesForce as required
- Learn product mix and inventory stocked at Weston Forest in order to better determine potential customer
**Administrative Support**:
- Create purchase orders and mill work orders (stock runs) in TallyWorks
**Other**:
- Provide administrative back up when required
- Act as a role model to other staff members by consistently adhering to company values
- Back-up and assist other team members when required
- Involvement in marketing campaigns
- Help organize and attend marketing events
- Other duties as required
**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED**

- Ability to multi-task with a strong attention to detail
- Outstanding team player with excellent work ethic
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Good analytical problem solving and mathematical skills
- Ability to follow established procedures
- Communicate in a factual, polite, and professional manner
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- French is an asset
