Security Supervisor for Respite/shelters

We are hiring for the position of Supervisor at the City of Toronto Respite sites. We are looking for individuals who are highly skilled, experienced, and committed to providing the highest quality of care for our clients.

To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following requirements to be considered for this position:

- Valid Ontario Security Guard License;
- Valid Standard First Aid/CPR & AED Certificate;
- Have 4+ years of progressive security experience having worked in large venue settings in a team environment; including but not limited to special events, festivals, sporting and concert venues and possess mastery basic security practices, procedures, and equipment;
- Have a minimum of two years experience working in security supervisory capacity leading a team of multiple members of various skillsets in a large venue setting and working large scale events, festivals, and sporting events, nightclubs, and concert venues;
- Possess one of the following: a post secondary degree / diploma in law / criminal justice; and/or verified military or police service experience;
As a Supervisor at the City of Toronto Respite sites, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our clients receive the support and care they need. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the site, managing staff, and ensuring that all safety and security protocols are followed.

**Salary**: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
