**Product Pricing Analyst**

JOB SUMMARY

Axios is searching for a self-motivated, enthusiastic Product Pricing Analyst that is excited to join our team in an extremely fast-paced environment. The position is based in Toronto, Ontario, and reports to the Business Development Manager. The individual is responsible for daily activities associated with the pricing of new, and existing, products based on market-derived data and costing.

This is an opportunity for you to grow with a young expanding company specializing in the research and production of drug impurities, drug metabolites, reference standards, isotopically labeled compounds, and internal standards for the Pharmaceutical industry.

**Job Requirements and Responsibilities**:

- Properly price new products based on up-to-date market and costing info
- Review existing source quotes and/or request new or alternate quotes to ensure quality and costing meet specifications
- Provide yearly pricing related analysis (ie product sales, competition, costing etc)
- Propose price adjustments on existing products
- Collaborate with management, production, and procurement for proposal of new product(s) and/or product lines with respective pricing
- Support Customer Service in the evaluation of inquiries to ensure correct products are matched and/or alternates are offered
- Create customer quotations
- Proactively review/modify pricing on products with high inquiries and low sales
- Provide sales-related data analysis/reporting to management when requested
- Perform other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- BSc in Organic Chemistry is mandatory (Masters is preferred)
- Business related degree and Pharma background is a plus
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills are required
- Solid understanding of database management, experience with ERP (SAP) is an asset.
- Intermediate to Advanced level of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
- Prior related work experience is an asset.
