**IT Analyst - Job Description**
Founded in 2001, Kidcentral Supply has become a leading source in wholesale and distribution, providing baby and maternity products to the retailers of Canada. Our goal is to have Kidcentral products in every growing Canadian home by focusing on unique and innovative products that babies love and parents’ trust.
The IT Analyst manages the information technology system of Kidcentral Supply including computer systems, corporate data and internal networks. The IT Analyst is responsible for IT-related infrastructure and development. Their duties can include building, managing, and monitoring a company’s IT system, and updating and upgrading hardware and software. The responsibilities also include submitting help desk tickets, replying to internal IT help desk tickets, and troubleshooting system errors. You will be required to provide IT level 1 & level 2 support to all users across the company.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
The IT Analyst manages and maintains the company’s technology. They are responsible for security and corporate data privacy. Assessing a company’s information system and identifying gaps that need to be addressed.
**Duties Include**:
- Communicating these gaps to the management in a simplified manner
- Ensuring all systems run smoothly and efficiently
- Ensuring security and privacy measures are in place
- Monitoring, submitting & replying to IT related work orders or tickets
- Working with 3rd party organizations to develop IT solutions for problems the company deals with
- A Strong understanding of EDI documents in a B2B workflow. Working with 3rd parties to create integrations between our business and external customers / vendors
- Creating, modifying, or updating existing SQL based reports
- Troubleshooting and providing technical support to the company staff’s ERP, Website & remote desktop issues
- Installing necessary updates to company software and hardware
- Staying within budget and allocating cost for necessary updates and upgrades
- Information technology specialists work in positions using computer-based information
- Provide technical support to a business' employees
- Design systems and assess the effectiveness of technology resources
- Determine the practicality of changes and modification of systems.
**Qualifications**
- Any IT certification, required
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role an asset
- Strong SQL Skills an asset
- Specialized in ERP systems, Bluelink an asset
- Experience working with EDI-Electronic Data Interchange of purchase orders, invoices with other B2B/supply-chain networks
- System Integrations
- Networking
- Experience with CommerceHub / SPS commerce is a bonus
**Salary**: $65,000.00-$72,000.00 per year
