The **Lead, Quality Assurance and Control **is integral to the success of the **Employer Services** team, and to CAAT’s guiding mission and growth strategy.

The Lead, Quality Assurance and Control, will be developing and implementing a quality monitoring framework and establishing an audit program to support post-implementation activities focusing on continuous improvement for our pension administration domain. This includes monitoring pension data integrity and business processes to determine cause/effect in order to implement corrective actions, as well as supporting the prioritization of action plans through audit results. This role ensures the effective implementation of embedding data quality strategies and operational procedures in business-as-usual tasks to improve efficiency and service quality.

**We are looking for someone with**:

- University degree or college diploma or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience, preferably in areas of business administration or finance
- A minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of experience working in MEPP, public sector pension administration or experience with pension outsourcing providers
- Prior experience with developing a quality assurance program
- Experience in business analysis, quality assurance and process improvement roles
- Proficiency using Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Power BI), and SQL
- CEBS, PPAC, CBP, PMP is an asset
- Knowledge and understanding of methods, procedures, and practices involved in the administration of pension plans
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, trends, and anomalies
- Keen attention to detail and demonstrate experience conducting defect analysis, quality reviews, and data integrity
- Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

**Once here you will**:

- Analyze workflows and business processes to design, develop, and implement a risk-based audit framework that reviews the quality of the pension administration systems, including newly implemented business processes
- Review audit results through the lenses of operational risk and financial risk to determine and prioritize action plans that continuously improve the pension administration systems and processes
- Collaborate with the data governance team to create and implement a data quality framework for regular monitoring of pension data, in alignment with enterprise data quality strategy, best practices, and standards
- Establish metrics, KPIs, and reporting to measure data quality and track improvements over time
- Report, analyze, and communicate data quality metrics, audit findings, and improvement efforts to stakeholders on processes, systems, and controls
- Team up with the Team Lead, Pension Administration Education to develop an internal certification program to standardize the quality standards within the Service Delivery team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and resolve data quality issues, conducting root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions
- Lead, monitor, and train teams to embed process audits and data audits in business-as-usual tasks to ensure compliance with data quality standards, and business practice standards and to identify areas for improvement
