**Schedule**: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

**Job Summary**:
**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Receive, process, and verify invoices related to accounts payable.
- Perform day-to-day transaction including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Reconcile invoices by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliation.
- Match invoices with purchase orders.
- Run EFT Batch payments.
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Prepare and process payment runs through various methods.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting principles.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries, discrepancies, and other related matters.
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with vendors and internal departments.
- Process employee expense reports in accordance with company procedures.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of accounts payable process.
- Generate reports on accounts payable activities as needed.
- Performs other related duties, including general accounting tasks, as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as an Accounts Payable Assistant or Clerk.
- Experience within a similar industry is an asset.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
